Plans can be full excess (benefits paid to cover costs in excess of those covered by any other health insurance), primary excess (benefits paid for first medical expense and then excess to other health insurance) and primary voluntary (benefits paid regardless of any other health insurance). Both Compulsory (school-purchased) and Voluntary (student purchased) plans are available.

Compulsory Plans

Provides benefits for covered injuries sustained during the hours and days when school is in session and while students are attending or participating in school-sponsored and supervised activities on or off school premises.

  • Participating in interscholastic sports, including football
  • Traveling to and from school and school-sponsored activities

Interscholastic Sports

Provides benefits for covered injuries sustained during try-outs, pre-season, regular season and post-season play, travel to and from games and practices.

Voluntary Plans

School Time Accident Medical Coverage

Catastrophic Accident Insurance

Catastrophic coverage for your interscholastic sports teams is highly encouraged and can be customized to fit your needs.

Plan benefits can include:

  • Available 5-year and 10-year benefit period options
  • Catastrophic maximums from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000
  • Flexible deductible options
  • Specific benefits can include:
    • College education,
    • Home adaptation remodeling,
    • Vehicle adaptation
  • Benefits for total disability and partial disability included

Cash benefits up to $500,000 for catastrophic injuries that pay for loss of income, ongoing medical care, and family expenses can be included.
